Ahavah
A relationship platform where trust is the product: tiered identity verification up to government-ID checks, realtime chat, IP reputation screening and abuse rate limiting. Shown here as identity and trust-and-safety capability.
Challenge
On a relationship platform, trust is the whole product. People need to be who they claim to be, and abuse has to be handled in the architecture rather than the moderation queue. Ahavah is where we built that muscle.
Approach
Members climb a verification ladder that ends in government-ID checks through Stripe Identity. Chat limits scale with verification level, and an IP reputation blocklist screens traffic at the edge. The PWA runs on Vercel against our own API, database and realtime chat cluster on DigitalOcean.
Outcome
The platform has been live since 15 June 2026. The first organic match happened on 9 July, 49 minutes after that member signed up. As of 10 August it counts 42 members, 35 of them activated.
